week 9
During the last week ,reading some articles for authors such Richard M. Felder, I learned about learning styles and ways of dealing with learners according their learning style when using technology in teaching and learning. The learning styles are :
• Verbal-Linguistic
• Logical/Mathematical
• Visual/Spatial
• Bodily/Kinesthetic
• Musical/Rhythmic
• Intrapersonal
• Interpersonal
• Naturalist
• Existentialist
The most well known of them are: Kinesthetic , visual and auditory .
1. Kinesthetic: learners who like to learn using their body movement.
2. Tactile : learners who like to learn by touching things.
3. Visual : learners who like to learn using watching things.
4. Auditory: learners who like to learn by listening.
I learned that teacher has to divide his students into categories according to that learning styles and then uses various tools of technology to meet his students styles of learning.
For those Kinesthetic , he can use keyboarding, mouse, joystick, and other devices for movement
For visual learner : Photo sharing websites ,comics and Sequential art
And for auditory , Video and audio recorders - digitize singing, musical instruments
I also used my peer reading comments to improve my project draft and made my final project report .I shared it in our wiki .
What I liked during this week is that learning styles reminded me to implement things I knew before .Also peer reading opened my eyes for things I were blind of them.

Also let's ask what is your learning style you like to apply ?
Regards,
Belal
