week 4
As the more quickly weeks pass, the easier and more clear and useful the e-teaching skills becomes.
By the time passing , I believe that this course is very helpful for teaching.
During the past week I learned and did many things I can mention them as follow:
: (Three Extensive Reading Activities for ESL/EFL Students Using E-books)by Mei-Ya Liang and (Using Internet-Based Children's Literature to Teach EFL) by Larry J. Mikulecky
I learned how to guide students how to choose, read and share and evaluate e-books.
I also learned how technology can save time and money.
I got some information about helping students choose and read an e-book from a library for example (the five fingers method) .
I searched and found some useful websites for developing reading ,writing and vocabulary some of them are:
http://www.tumblebooks.com/
http://www.eslfast.com/
http://www.childrenslibrary.org
http://courses.britishcouncil.org/pub/tkt/ for teachers
http://www.learningchocolate.com/ for multilevel learners
http://www.bygosh.com/index.html for multilevel learners.
I learned how to make technology lesson plan and how it is different from the normal lesson plan because the former is a tool and an aid of the later.
I shared my own sample technology lesson plan at
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B-Ntjk0YHiwqOHZHZEpsUzVVM28/edit?usp=sharing
I shared project step 3 in nicenet where I focused on the problem I touch it with my students and find that technology may help in solution .
My instructor helped me in limiting and focusing on the problem so I am appreciated and proud of such teacher to be my instructor.
Be full of hope because life is full of beautiful things,

Hi Riyaz,
ReplyDeleteYa, it becomes easier to deal with the course and also more interesting and useful. This week we have been busy doing lots of things. The five Finger method is easy to handle. I agree with you that Robert is helpful and that the I find the course useful.
I like your last sentence. ya, life is beautiful.

Hello Riyaz,
ReplyDeleteYou are right when mentioning that the support of Robert is very important in order to limit or reduce the text on the objectives.
I really like the final thought: "be full of hope because life is full of beautiful things"
