week 3

This week ,I discussed with my colleagues the oral skill building websites and shared in nicenet the following oral web skills sites: http://learnenglish.britishcouncil.org/en/listen-and-watch for elementary students to develop listening and speaking skills. http://www.englishtown.com/online/your-teachers.aspx video for intermediate for developing speaking and listening . http://www.esl-galaxy.com/speaking.html speaking for beginners. And then I shared them with comments. I also read the instructions on how to make a site on Delicious.com and ,of course, I created my own and used it by adding my favorite bookmarks and then I shared my site on wiki. I read a sample final report of a project called TEACH South Africa by Runganaygie Nalini Reddy and shared comment on what the author did in his project and what I liked about the project.

Week 2

During this week we have learned new things .I came out from believing that Google is the internet and the internet is Google and I sought Acadimic information and information for my students using different search sites but not Google like Academicinfo ,Intute, Wikipedia, Iseekeducation,Sweetsearch and others,although , Google is still my best. I also learnt and applied ABCD method in setting the behavioral objectives which expanded my information that I had on( Blooms' Taxonomy). Step one in preparation the final project was a smooth push forward I have learnt during week 2 that is to start with information collection about your audience . To be honest , the discussion with my colleagues was something could not be ignored as it deepens the feeling of togetherness.

week 1

Hello everyone, In fact using technology is very important for us as teachers but I could not believe that we can go step by step until we do what we have done. I believe that as we take care of others in teaching them patiently ,sure there will be one another to help us and tell us that It is time to reward you for your effort s with others. I have learnt during the past few days how to plan technologically and then how to start stepping to provide others what have been learnt through something called blogs .Cascading something learnt through sharing it by wiki is an important lesson I have learnt from the first steps too. I feel that without togetherness our work will less worth and what we cannot find in long time can be reaped in a moment . Bright future, Riyadh
